Disc Golf

Disc golf is a sport that shares many of the same rules and objectives as traditional golf does. The game is played with a Frisbee and an elevated metal basket commonly called a Pole Hole. The object of the game is to hit the Pole Hole in the fewest number of throws.

Disc golf can be played at nearly any age. It is a sport that can be learned as a child, and be played through ones older years because it doesn’t require very much strain on the body. It can also be a family sport that promotes healthy competition.

Disc golf can be researched online to find the nearest course and association. The requirements to play this game are very minimal and relatively inexpensive, especially if there is a course already set up. There may not be any courses within close proximity; however, the gear to play can be purchased over the Internet.
